Nevermore (Part 3)

The Nevermore project continues with a third edition of the program (yay!) on this week’s edition of At Water’s Edge. This week we hear from Fabio Keiner, William Spivey, Mystified, Tim Kays, Wings of an Angel, Disturbed Earth, Red clouds, Jeff Sampson, and John Sherwood. Plus, a bonus track from William Spivey and Christopher Alvarado, from their recent release Sun Dog–it’s a slightly different twist on the track that Christopher did for Nevermore several weeks ago. UPDATE! Plus a late addition from our pal Altocirrus (Sean McCarthy); hooray!

This project began life as a very rough field recording of our Mojave Desert ravens (and we happened to capture the sound of a distant train and some dogs barking in the same recording). We put out the call to ambient artists to see what people would do with it, and the response was amazing. More than 20 different ambient artists from around the world took the rough recordings and added their own inimitable marks, and the project expanded to a many-hours-long series. We will be releasing the tracks as a series on the Radhaus audiophile label over the next few months.
